Weihnachstmarkt
We couldn’t help but start with the market in Santa Croce Square, Weihnachstmarkt Christmas Martket, the first to open in Florence and perhaps the biggest!
This market is inspired by the traditional German Christmas villages and it consists in over 50 stands housed in traditional wooden huts to wander through. Handcrafted decorations , food products from all over Europe, activities to entertain children, desserts like strudel and hot chocolate, gift ideas, music, songs, and flag-wavers add color and fragrance to the atmosphere of Santa Croce Square.
For true Christmas lovers, this market is a must-see for its magical Chistmas Village, where you can explore Santa’s house, the post office, the Xmas Experience, the Chocolate Factory, and the Workshop of Wonders. Another unique market is Joulutori, a Christmas market in true Northern Europe style. Traditional Nordic cuisine is aslo available, framing the festive atmosphere in true Santa Claus style!

A market for good.
Natalperfile is a Christmas market organized to raise funds in support of care for seriously ill patients in the area.
30 stands featuring exhibitors from various sectors such as accessories, clothing, beauty, home decorations and much more. Here you will surely find the perfect gifts for your loved ones!
There are also 4 rooms dedicated to “100% File” products.
You can also find a refreshment area in the Ninfeo Palace, where you can stop for lunch or enjoy a happy hour.
All funds raised support File Fondazione Italiana in Lenitherapy, a foundation that offers free assistance to people with severe illnesses and to their families.
In 23 years of activity, they have supported more than 40,000 people!

Christmas in Fiesole – Dialogues between earth and sky
If you are looking for something new, Fiesole is hosting the first edition of “Christmas in Fiesole – Dialogues between earth and sky”, featuring the Mercato d’Autore: a market made up of stands and events that combine craftsmanship, music, art, and creativity, with 28 artisans from all over Italy!
This market is perfect for celebrating not only Christmas but also the beauty and culture of the city.
To immerse yourself even more in the Christmas spirit, students from the Fiesole School of Music will perform, and you can enjoy artistic performances throughout the city streets and in Mino Square!
From December 7 until Epiphany, you can walk through a unique festive atmosphere in Fiesole! The experience is enhanced by three Christmas trees in Mino Square in Fiesole, Mezzadri Square in Caldine, and Piazza Etrusca in Compiobbi, around which you can find activities and events for all ages will take place throughout December.
