Ours is a quiet area, so the precautions to be taken are those dictated by common sense:
Always lock your car, do not leave valuables unattended in your room/apartment, do not leave items unattended in common areas, do not leave external doors open.

Keys:

We recommend that you never leave your keys in the door inside the flat, as it may be difficult to reopen the door if it closes.

Fire precautions:

It is forbidden to store even small quantities of flammable substances; it is forbidden to use any type of stove for heating food, stoves and heating or lighting appliances in general, whether electric with visible heating elements or fuelled by solid, liquid or gaseous fuels, other than those provided in the flat. Please take the utmost care when using lighters; do not leave lit cigarette butts unattended, do not throw paper or other flammable materials into ashtrays.

In case of FIRE:

• Do not delay in collecting personal belongings.
• Leave the accommodation immediately, closing the door behind you.
• Alert people in other accommodation in the building.
• Assist any disabled persons.
• Leave the building quickly, without running.
• Once you are safe, call the FIRE BRIGADE (Tel. 115) and the Galardi family (tel. 0556593020 or mobile 328 676 7774)

Two fire extinguishers are located under the loggia of the main building and in front of the reception.

In the event of an EARTHQUAKE:

In a closed space:

Seek shelter in a doorway in a load-bearing wall (the thickest ones) or under a beam, as these can protect you from any collapses.
Take shelter under a table; it is dangerous to stay near furniture, heavy objects and glass that could fall on you.
Do not rush to the stairs, as they are sometimes the weakest part of the building.

In an open space:

Move away from buildings, walls and power lines, as they may collapse.
Stay away from industrial plants and power lines, as fires may occur.
Stay away from the edge of swimming pools.
Avoid wandering around and go to the waiting areas identified in the municipal emergency plan: stay away from danger.

Avoid using your telephone and car; telephone lines and roads must be kept clear so as not to hinder rescue operations.
If you are in a car, do not stop near bridges or landslide-prone areas, as they may be damaged or collapse.
