In this article, we explain the use of common areas and respect other people’s property when staying at Poggiopiano.
Washing machine:
A communal washing machine is available for guests’ use.
Please bring your own detergent and ask the staff for instructions on how to use it.
Please leave the laundry area tidy.
3 euro/wash.
Swimming pool:
Please take note of the rules and regulations in this article and posted at the entrance to the swimming pool.
Please note that SMOKING, LEAVING BOTTLES AND GLASSES by the pool and USING GLASS CUPS is PROHIBITED.
DIVING is PROHIBITED.
Please also AVOID loud noises and disrespectful behaviour.
Waste:
We recommend careful waste sorting.
Waste must be collected in the appropriate bins and deposited in the appropriate containers located near the gate, identified by different colours:
Yellow: for paper and cardboard
Black: for unsorted waste
Brown: for organic waste
Blue: for plastic and packaging.
Glass (bottles and jars) in the appropriate container near the Reception.
IN RESPECT FOR NATURE AND THE ENVIRONMENT, please AVOID WASTE of
water and electricity, TURN OFF THE LIGHTS when you leave the premises, and DO NOT
THROW paper or cigarette butts on the ground, but use the appropriate terracotta bins.
Bathrooms:
Please do not throw wipes or absorbents in the toilet.
Hair dryer
– Ensure your hands are completely dry before plugging the hairdryer into the mains socket.
– Select the switch position on the hairdryer according to the desired power:
* position 1: low air flow
* position 2: medium air flow
* position 3: high air flow
– Never block the air vents during use
– Do not use hairspray while using the hairdryer
– Once you have finished drying your hair, unplug the appliance, allow it to cool down and then
store it, taking care not to twist the cable around the appliance itself.
– Do not leave the cord plugged into the electrical outlet when not in use
– Do not immerse or wet the appliance; do not use it near water, in the bathtub, in the sink or
near any other container containing liquids. If the appliance falls into
water, DO NOT try to retrieve it and immediately unplug it
from the power supply.
Kitchenette:
Please leave the kitchenette tidy.
If something is not working or has been accidentally broken, please kindly
notify the staff so that it can be replaced/repaired.
The gas supply knob is located next to the sink.
Thermostat:
The thermostat is already set to the temperature required by law; we kindly ask you
not to change any settings.
